EMPOWER26 Registration

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before proceeding with your event registration:

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration and participation in the NERR Empower 26 (“Event”) organized by Northeast Region Royal Rangers (“Organizer”). By completing your registration, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Registration Information Accuracy:

• By completing the registration process, you agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering for the Event.
• Northeast Region Royal Rangers reserves the right to verify the provided information. Any false or incomplete information may result in the cancellation of your registration without refund. Please notify Northeast Region Royal Rangers promptly if any of your registration details change.

2. Registration Confirmation:

• Once your registration is successfully submitted (and payment is received), you will receive a confirmation email at the address provided. This confirmation serves as proof of registration and may be required for check-in. If you do not receive confirmation within 3 days, please contact register@northeastregion.org.

3. Registration Fees:

• Full payment must be made at the time of registration unless otherwise arranged with the Organizer. All fees are non-refundable.
• Registration fees are non-refundable.

4. Event Cancellation or Postponement:

• Northeast Region Royal Rangers reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient registrations, venue unavailability, or force majeure events.
• In the event of cancellation or postponement, registered participants will be notified via email or other contact methods provided during registration.
• The Organizer is not responsible for any personal travel, lodging, or other expenses incurred in connection with the Event.

5. Data Privacy:

• Collection and Use of Personal Information: Northeast Region Royal Rangers collects personal information during the registration process for the sole purpose of event administration and communication. This information may include but is not limited to your name, contact details, affiliation, and any other pertinent details required for event participation.
• Third-Party Disclosure: Northeast Region Royal Rangers is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or as necessary to facilitate event-related services (e.g., event partners or service providers involved in event logistics).
• Consent for Sharing with Third Parties: By completing the registration process, you consent to Northeast Region Royal Rangers sharing your personal information with third parties involved in event organization and management, including but not limited to event partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and service providers. These third parties are obligated to use your personal information solely for the purposes of the event and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Data Security: Northeast Region Royal Rangers implements industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage method is completely secure, and Northeast Region Royal Rangers cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
• Retention of Personal Information: Northeast Region Royal Rangers retains your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
• By proceeding with event registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information as described above.

6. Code of Conduct:

• Participants are expected to adhere to the event’s code of conduct and behave in a respectful and professional manner towards fellow participants, organizers, speakers, and staff.
• Northeast Region Royal Rangers reserves the right to revoke event privileges and refuse entry to individuals who violate the code of conduct.

7. Intellectual Property:

• Any materials, presentations, or content provided during the event remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

8. Indemnification:

• By registering for the event, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Northeast Region Royal Rangers and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your participation in the event.

9. Liability and Media Waiver

• a. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
  You acknowledge and understand that participation in the Event may involve certain risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, or other injuries. By registering and attending, you voluntarily assume all such risks and agree that the Organizer, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during or in connection with the Event.
• b. Medical Emergencies
  In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize the Organizer and its representatives to seek necessary medical assistance on your behalf. You agree to be responsible for any resulting medical costs.
• c. Photography, Video, and Marketing Consent
  By attending the Event, you grant the Organizer permission to capture, use, and share photographs, video recordings, or other media that may include your likeness, image, or voice. These materials may be used in future promotional materials, social media, livestreams, newsletters, or other marketing purposes related to the Organizer’s mission and activities.
  If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify event staff at check-in so that reasonable accommodations can be made.

10. Modification of Terms:

• Northeast Region Royal Rangers reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically for any changes.
